Our Clinicians
Brian's journey to becoming a counselor began at an orphanage for boys in Bolivia, where he worked as a dorm parent for children and teenagers alike. This experience led him to create an adventure therapy program for group homes across the country, a program that still runs today. While running from llamas in the Andes and swatting mosquitos in the Amazon, Brian studied to obtain his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College. At the same time, he earned a post-master's certificate in Adventure Based Counseling under Maurie Lung, a celebrated adventure therapist. He went on to become a National Certified Counselor.
Brian's focus is attachment-based and trauma-informed. He utilizes a variety of counseling methods to help his clients get results, and will adjust the counseling process to fit the needs of each client.
